We are looking for a dedicated and skilled occupational therapist to join our team at Vega Rehab in Fristad, a unit within the Vårdval Rehab in the Västra Götaland region. As an occupational therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting rehabilitation and improving the quality of life for our patients.

Role Summary

In the role of occupational therapist, you will be a key person in our team, contributing to the design and implementation of rehabilitation programs for our patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and individualized care plan for each person. Vega Rehab shares premises with Vega Health Center and BVC in Fristad, allowing for interdisciplinary collaboration around shared patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' rehabilitation needs and design appropriate treatment plans.
• Conduct individual treatments as well as group therapies to improve function, movement, and independence in patients.
• Work in a team to monitor and evaluate progress and adjust treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Provide advice and education to patients and their families about rehabilitation and management of various conditions.

Qualifications

• Licensed occupational therapist with experience working at the primary care level.
• Ability to work both independently and in team environments.
• We highly value interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate good collaboration with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
