Licensed physiotherapist with neurological expertise sought for our neuro care team.

Do you want to work in a dedicated team focused on neurological rehabilitation while maintaining a broad role in primary care? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

We are seeking a licensed physiotherapist with further education in neurology (at least 15 ECTS credits) to join our neuro care team. The position involves working with patients with neurological diagnoses in close collaboration with other professionals in the team.

· Experience in teamwork

About Wästerläkarna

Our rehabilitation unit provides occupational therapy and physiotherapy for all age groups and diagnoses, both on an individual and group level.

Currently, we have 13 physiotherapists, five occupational therapists, one speech therapist, and one administrator working at the clinic.

To meet the rehabilitation needs, we continuously work on developing the organization.

We currently have about 160 employees distributed across three units: Wästerläkarna Redegatan and BVC, Wästerläkarna Hängpilsgatan and BVC, and Wästerläkarna Rehab.

Our rehabilitation operations are co-located with the health center at Redegatan and BVC, which creates good conditions for close and effective collaboration with doctors and nurses.

Wästerläkarna has been operating a health center in Western Gothenburg since 1994. In the autumn of 2017, we opened another health center and simultaneously started our rehabilitation unit. Today, we have over 30,000 registered patients. The organization is owned and operated by three general practitioners who are also clinically active.

We operate within the framework of Vårdval Rehab and follow current requirements and quality standards, with standard tasks for physiotherapists in primary care.

The accessibility at the clinic is good, with daily drop-in services combined with scheduled appointments.

Work is conducted both individually and in teams, and we also offer group treatments. The operations include patient education such as BOA and COPD school, as well as group activities for individuals with stress-related health issues, such as medical yoga, relaxation, and stress management.

Job responsibilities also include the assessment and prescription of assistive devices, supervision of students, and home visits as needed.
