Welcome to Bobergsskolan

Bobergsskolan is a newly built and modern municipal primary school in Norra Djurgårdsstaden in Östermalm, Stockholm.

The school was awarded the title of School Building of the Year in 2020 and has absolutely fantastic facilities. Bobergsskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 910 students. We need staff who, together with us, will develop our school into one where good academic results, study peace, safety, and joy are in focus!

The school is very popular, where engagement and high expectations are key principles. We invest heavily in employee care, and working environment issues are important to us. Our index on the employee survey is among the highest in the city. At Bobergsskolan, people simply enjoy working!

Job Description

In your role as a teacher in Bobergsskolan's after-school care/club activities, you will work collaboratively throughout the school day. You are responsible for ensuring that the education in the after-school care is designed in accordance with the Education Act, curriculum, and other national and municipal governing documents.

In the after-school care or in our club activities, you and your colleagues offer students a meaningful leisure time by starting from the students' needs, interests, and experiences, but also by continuously challenging the students further and inspiring new discoveries.

Together with your colleagues, you will work towards a trusting, open, and respectful collaboration with our students and guardians.

Your Competence and Experience

You who are applying:

  • are a certified teacher in after-school care
  • preferably have experience in conducting education in after-school care that allows students to develop ideas, solve problems, and implement those ideas into action.

You are secure, stable, have good self-awareness, and adapt your approach depending on the situation. You appreciate working towards goals and focus on continuous improvements in the operations and your own professional practice. You have good collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and guardians. You have good ability to listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You are structured, as you plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. We prefer that you have several years of experience in the profession.
