Do you want to work as a Bid Manager – but in a role where you not only win business but also ensure that it creates real business value over time?
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Commercial Strategist – Frameworks & Bids at Nexer, you will play a central role in driving and developing our strategic business. You combine bid management with commercial strategy and business implementation – with a clear focus: that won business also delivers as expected.
Unlike a traditional Bid Manager, you follow the business all the way. You are not only involved in winning it – you also ensure that it is implemented effectively and that the organization can realize the business's goals, value, and profitability.
The role primarily focuses on larger national and international business within the private sector, but also includes public procurement when necessary.
You work closely with the sales organization, business areas, and management to develop competitive offerings and commercial arrangements that strengthen Nexer's position in the market.
Responsibilities
In this role, you lead and coordinate strategic business throughout the entire business cycle – from early strategy and bid work to the implementation of won contracts.
You:
Drive and project manage complex bidding processes and commercial initiatives
Work closely with sales, delivery, and solution teams in business-critical phases
Contribute to business strategies, pricing models, and commercial arrangements already in early phases
Ensure that won business is implemented effectively and meets its goals
Support the organization in making the best use of framework agreements and larger contracts
Capture experiences and translate them into improved working methods
You play a key role in strengthening Nexer's ability to both win and develop complex business.
YOUR BACKGROUND
We are looking for someone who is business-driven, strategic, and thrives in complex business where many stakeholders need to be coordinated. You combine strategic insight with operational execution power.
We believe you have:
Relevant academic education or equivalent experience
Several years of experience in bid management within the private and/or public sector
Documented experience in leading complex business and bidding processes
Experience from international or larger private business
Strong ability to develop business strategies, pricing models, and commercial arrangements
Experience in project management and working in cross-functional teams
Knowledge of LOU/LUF
Excellent skills in Swedish and English (additional languages are a plus)
Experience in supporting the implementation of larger contracts or framework agreements after winning business
