We welcome you as a nursing assistant to our cozy dementia village Månstorps Ängar.

In the role of nursing assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents. With us, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, you will help shape the future of elderly care. You will work closely with Leva Livet inspirators and specialist nursing assistants in dementia care.

Forenede Care operates Månstorps Ängar on behalf of Vellinge municipality. The care and support accommodation has a total of 56 places, distributed over 4 units. The accommodation offers apartments to elderly people with cognitive impairment.

We are a Star Rated accommodation, which means we work systematically with training in person-centered dementia care. When you start with us, you will participate in training within the Star Rated program, aimed at providing staff with knowledge and tools to develop person-centered work in the organization and create an even better everyday life for our residents.

We have large gardens at Månstorps Ängar for easy outdoor access and good space for shared activities or socializing. We have a retro shop, salon, sensory room, etc.

Månstorps Ängar is strategically located with a short distance to both the train station and bus stop. For those who drive, there are free parking options just across the road.

In the position of nursing assistant, you will work with care and support based on the customer's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You will assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving from our restaurant, respond to alarms, and be there for social interaction. The social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that all our residents can live life to the fullest. This can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on outings, cycling, or coming up with fun activities together. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for two colleagues for full-time/part-time positions with a permanent contract and a 6-month probationary period. The employment rates are 100% and 75%.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

We also consider previous experience in elderly care and dementia care as an advantage.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at creating good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
