About us

Lidingö City has 19 municipal preschools with various pedagogical approaches, diverse groups of children and staff, as well as unique facilities and work plans. What unites us is the mission to lay the foundation for lifelong learning, based on the Education Act and the preschool curriculum. Together, we build bridges for the future and create a safe and inspiring environment where both children and staff can grow.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you flexible, enjoy meeting new people, and want to contribute to children's development? We are now looking for substitute teachers who can step in as needed. You will be called in when regular staff are absent or when the operation has an increased need. Working hours vary, and we cannot guarantee daily work.

As a substitute, you are an important part of everyday life in our preschools. You work alongside regular educators and contribute to teaching, play, and activities. Your presence makes a difference and helps create a safe and educational environment for the children. The work requires you to quickly adapt to different situations and sometimes step in at short notice. Here, you have the opportunity to develop, be creative, and make a difference every day you are present.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience working in preschools or with children and preferably with a pedagogical education. You have good communication skills when interacting with children, guardians, and colleagues, and can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are flexible and thrive in new environments. You have a positive and professional demeanor and always prioritize the needs of the children. Furthermore, you are playful, relationship-building, and contribute energy and engagement. The city applies individual salary setting. Start date according to agreement.
