Your Mission

In the role of a teacher, you will be responsible for teaching natural science and technology classes in chemistry. The course in natural science specialization in chemistry may also be relevant. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, grading, and evaluating the teaching in your subject based on the curriculum. This includes mentoring for a half-class, development talks, parent meetings, student follow-ups, and student welfare work. You will collaborate with other chemistry teachers at the school and contribute to the development of the subject and the scientific activities at the school. You will work with teams and student health teams to ensure that students receive a good education and study situation.

Your Experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• Teaching certification with subject competence in chemistry and possibly another subject for upper secondary education
• Documented experience of teaching chemistry, preferably at the upper secondary level
• Good digital competence with experience in using IT as a pedagogical tool
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Subject competence in natural science, mathematics, and biology.
