Kista International School is a primary school located in Akalla. The school is a free school founded in 2010 and is owned by a non-profit association. It is a growing school with approximately 740 students in grades F-9 for the 25/26 school year. The school has been very successful, achieving around 90% eligibility for upper secondary school in recent years and ranking among the top three schools in the country in the Swedish National Agency for Education's survey. We strongly believe in having high expectations for our students and are not satisfied until all students succeed. To achieve this goal, we work hard to strengthen cooperation with homes, maintain order and structure in the school, and take care of our teachers so that they thrive and can do a good job. We are now looking for a mathematics teacher. In mathematics, we work in a co-teaching model, and you will be part of a subject team consisting of four teachers. The teaching is for grades 7-9. The teachers plan together and support each other, where equality in teaching for students is important. You need to be confident in teaching and be able to inspire students with joy to want to learn more. The role requires you to be structured, have the ability to teach in a pedagogical way to encourage students to gain more knowledge, as well as possess good leadership qualities and understand the importance of building relationships.

You need to be certified in the subject of mathematics. The position is 100%. It is a permanent position starting Thursday, August 6. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. We welcome your application!
