At Fredrikshovs Slotts School, there are just over 300 students. The school is divided into two units, Leisure/F–3 and 4–9. Thanks to our graduating students' top results, Fredrikshovs Slotts School has ranked among the top five primary schools in Sweden in the Swedish National Agency for Education's statistics for several years. By forming a cohesive structure from preschool to grade 9, the school creates opportunities to develop a working method with continuity and long-term focus, where knowledge and skills are methodically built up to the highest possible level for each student.

We are now looking for an inspiring world-class primary school teacher for a temporary position during the 2026/2027 school year, teaching grades F–3 at our fantastic school.

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled, curious, and engaged certified primary school teacher for our primary unit. As a teacher at Fredrikshovs Slotts School, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on students' learning.

You will work as a teacher in the primary school. The role also includes mentorship. You will collaborate closely with leisure staff associated with your grade.

We are looking for someone who is skilled at building relationships and has high expectations for the students. Fredrikshovs Slotts School consistently works with Singapore mathematics and genre pedagogy. Experience in this area is an advantage.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with qualifications for primary school and have several years of experience teaching grades F–3. You are confident in your teaching role and have well-developed skills in planning, implementing, and following up on instruction.

You have good experience in assessment and documentation in primary school. Experience with national tests in grade 3 is an advantage.

You are a clear leader and accustomed to collegial collaboration. You engage students in learning and meet their diverse needs with high expectations, structure, and support. You want to contribute to the development of Sweden's best school.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

The person offered the temporary position must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
