Your Mission

The role of a substitute teacher means that you can step in on short notice to work part of the day, a full day, or over a longer period depending on the needs of the organization.

During the school day, you will be a present and active educator in the classroom, teaching students in grades F-6 according to a prepared plan.

As a substitute teacher, you will teach students in grades F-6 and be responsible for conducting lessons according to the given plan or, if necessary, independently develop materials to carry out the lessons. It may also include participating in students' break activities. At the end of the day, you will be responsible for providing written feedback to the regular teacher.

As a substitute for after-school care or resource substitute, you will work alongside classroom teachers during the school day and participate in various after-school activities. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and implement stimulating and educational activities for the students in after-school care.

Your Experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• high school education
• very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is advantageous if you also have:

• experience as a substitute teacher
• experience working with students in need of special support
• started or completed teacher training.
