The unit employs around 130 staff members. We work towards common goals and can always rely on each other's support in our work. Our mission

Our unit in Skaraborg belongs to the Operational Area of Coordinated Support and has a comprehensive responsibility to provide coordinated and needs-based support to job seekers with significant support needs and close support to employers focusing on those who are open to hiring individuals who find it harder to get a job.

About the position

We are now looking for Employment Officers for the assignments of Enhanced Collaboration with the Social Insurance Agency and for SIUS (Special Introduction and Follow-up Support). We seek someone who enjoys working closely with people who have difficulty finding employment.

The Employment Service and the Social Insurance Agency collaborate to ensure that individuals who are on sick leave or receiving activity compensation have access to joint mapping and rehabilitation efforts. The goal for individuals participating in rehabilitation collaboration is to develop or regain their work capacity.

The SIUS program is an initiative that matches job seekers with disabilities that result in reduced work capacity and who need support to find, obtain, and maintain employment in the regular labor market.

In both assignments, you will collaborate with employers often on various workplaces. You have a good ability to collaborate, strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, and can meet individuals in a safe and calm manner. You work based on our values and have a respectful and positive attitude.

Our offer

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The place of employment is Skövde or Lidköping.

Basic requirements

• University/higher education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system)
• Alternatively, you have been employed as an Employment Officer at the Employment Service and are assessed to have good prerequisites to meet today's requirements for Employment Officers
• At least 2 years of work experience, collectively working at least 50 percent over a total of 2 years
• Good knowledge of Swedish, meaning a good ability to communicate in speech and writing, as well as high reading comprehension
• Driving license B

Other merits

• Experience working with employers to match to work
• Experience and knowledge of collaboration with authorities and other actors in society
• Work experience in interpreting and applying regulations
• Work experience in guidance and coaching towards work or education
