A leading company in the defense and aerospace industry is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager for a consulting assignment in Linköping. The assignment is part of the organization's focus on long-term business relationships and strategic sourcing related to advanced aircraft programs such as Gripen and T-7A Trainer. The role includes responsibility for both new and ongoing projects, close collaboration with technical and engineering teams, and leading sourcing initiatives within the organization.

Main Responsibilities

– Establish and nurture strategic business relationships with selected suppliers.

– Lead sourcing for ongoing and upcoming projects.

– Ensure projects are executed efficiently in close collaboration with technical and engineering-oriented teams.

– Act as project manager for larger sourcing initiatives.

– Initiate and drive continuous improvements within the area of responsibility.

Requirements

– Academic degree: MBA, M.Sc. in engineering, LL.M. or equivalent.

– Documented experience in strategic sourcing and project management.

– Relationship building: Ability to create and maintain long-term business relationships, both internally and externally.

– Language skills: Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

– Security clearance: Swedish citizenship and ability to undergo security screening according to applicable regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

– International experience and/or additional language skills.

Other Information

Work model: The work is performed on-site in Linköping.

Assignment period: 2025-02-03 – 2026-01-31, with the possibility of extension.
