Your Responsibilities

The position is located at the Southern Prosecution Authority in Flemingsberg. As an administrator, you will encounter a dynamic workday with varied tasks.

You will work independently but also collaboratively in a team to ensure the administrative work functions smoothly. Service is a significant part of your daily work, both internally and externally.

Your tasks include, among others:

providing administrative support to prosecutors, e.g., working in the criminal case registry, handling archiving, and performing general office tasks
checking, assessing, and registering incoming cases
being the outward contact in many contexts and thus providing good service to both the public and other authorities – primarily via phone and email
performing other tasks as assigned by the administrative managers.

The workday is event-driven, and urgent matters may arise quickly, requiring you to make swift decisions and assess what is urgent or not.

Your Qualities and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

has a high school diploma or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
has relevant skills corresponding to several years of well-regarded work with administrative tasks
has relevant experience working in an IT environment and with digital tools within administration, telephony, meetings, etc.
has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

Experience in handling tasks covered by the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act is an advantage.

About the Employment

The employment is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period.

Before an employment offer, the Prosecution Authority may conduct a background check in the suspect register and criminal record. The background check is conducted on the final candidate. It may also be relevant to be placed in a security class, which means that a security assessment with an accompanying background check is conducted on the final candidate.

Tests may occur in the recruitment process.

The Prosecution Authority is a preparedness authority. Upon employment, you may be assigned to the Prosecution Authority in case of war. Read more under Working with us (#).
