Your Responsibilities

As an Accountant at MaxGaming, you will have a broad and leading role in the finance team. You will be responsible for the quality of accounting and drive that work forward. In addition to accounting, a large part of the role is also to analyze, troubleshoot, and further develop the integration between the company's systems and find the most efficient paths forward.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Ongoing accounting
• Year-end closing work
• Responsibility for monthly and quarterly closings
• Annual report according to K3
• VAT reporting (Swedish, Norwegian, German, and British VAT plus OSS reporting)
• Reconciliation of payments via various payment systems
• Quality assurance and support in more complex accounting issues
• Maintenance and quality assurance of systems as well as updates
• Close collaboration with the company's CFO

This is a role for you who enjoy accounting but love systems, data, and structure.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of the overall accounting process and thrives in a data-driven environment where systems are central. You have worked broadly with accounting for about 4-5 years and feel confident in year-end closings, VAT, and the ongoing parts.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• Very good system understanding and a genuine interest in data-driven working methods
• Experience with year-end closing work according to K3
• Curiosity to work with large data sets and integrations between systems
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex flows
• Confidence in driving processes forward and ensuring quality

• At least 4-5 years of experience in the entire financial flow
