We at Attendo Muréngatan are now looking for a summer substitute nursing assistant for our care and nursing home. Muréngatan is a modern and centrally located facility, with 102 places spread over 6 floors. We are now looking for summer substitutes, primarily for weeks 25-32, but other weeks may also be relevant. If you are interested in working in elderly care, we can offer a pleasant and developing workplace with an engaged workgroup. The schedule includes days, evenings, and weekends.

As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a big part of your role, as well as being able to contribute with various activities that brighten the everyday life for our elderly.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes

• If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.

• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions

• Collaborate with several professional roles and external contacts, such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education.

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, B2 level.

• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

  Meritorious:

• Experience from care work in elderly care

• Experience of delegation.

Introduction days will be held at the beginning of June. If you are interested in working as a substitute before the holiday periods begin, there may also be opportunities for that.

About the recruitment process

Before any employment, an extract from the criminal record must be presented along with valid photo identification. If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
