At the Family Center in Bollnäs, you will meet a dedicated and experienced team focused on providing good and close care throughout the various stages of life. Here, you will find a midwifery clinic, youth clinic, ultrasound clinic, and maternity clinic all in one place, making the operation unique and offering varied tasks as well as close collaboration between the clinics. The position is primarily based at the midwifery clinic, but you will also have the opportunity to work part of your time at the youth clinic, maternity clinic, and ultrasound clinic.

The Family Center in Bollnäs is part of the family health area of southern Hälsingland, which also includes the midwifery clinic and youth clinic in Söderhamn. For this position, Bollnäs will be your stationing location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a midwife, you will meet women and families at different stages of life where you are an important part of promoting health and well-being.

Your main responsibilities

• healthcare related to pregnancy, including medical basic programs, fetal diagnostics, health information during pregnancy
• support in parenting and parenting groups with childbirth and parenting preparation
• family planning at the individual level, including contraceptive counseling and STI prevention
• gynecological cell sample control to prevent cervical cancer
• team collaboration with a social worker
• public health work and discussions about lifestyle issues.

In the role of midwife, you should

• be a licensed midwife with prescribing rights.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience from a midwifery clinic.
