In Gästrikland, there are two hearing centers, one in Gävle and one in Sandviken, with a total of twelve audiologists, one audiometrist, and three administrators. The Technical Hearing Care unit, with three technicians and an engineer, is part of our care unit, and we have a close collaboration with hearing habilitation and the ear-nose-throat clinic. Right now, we are in a phase of development with many exciting projects that make working with us fun and inspiring, with great opportunities to advance Swedish hearing care.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We offer good development opportunities for you as an audiologist. We work closely with audiologists and several ear-nose-throat specialists, creating a safe, stimulating, and competent work environment. You will work independently with significant responsibility while being part of an engaged team. The position allows you to work with both diagnostics and technical rehabilitation, as well as to develop in various specialist areas based on your interests.

There is an opportunity to choose a focus, for example, towards a severe team or tinnitus team. We work with modern methods and digital solutions.

To ensure a safe start, we offer an individually tailored and structured introduction.

As an audiologist with us, you will work with:

• hearing assessments and diagnostics
• fitting and follow-up of hearing aids
• technical rehabilitation
• wax removal (after completed training)
• quality assurance of hearing aid fittings with REM
• remote adjustment of compatible hearing aids
• group-based evaluations for patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

In the role of audiologist, you should:

• be a licensed audiologist.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have several years of experience in the profession.
