School Nurse at Bergsjö School

Do you want to work as a school nurse in an environment where you can make a real difference? We are now looking for a full-time school nurse for Bergsjö School.

The position covers approximately 350 students in both middle and high school.

About the assignment

You will be an important part of the school's health team and work health-promoting and preventive in close collaboration with students, educators, and guardians.

Your tasks include, among other things: vaccinations, health visits, health follow-ups, basic healthcare interventions, and collaboration with the health team.

We are looking for someone who always puts the student first, who is attentive, caring, and engaged. You have a professional demeanor and a good ability to work independently, structured, and organized. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills. You act professionally, solution-oriented, and take responsibility. You have good self-awareness in your professional role and seek support from your colleagues when needed. You have good communication skills, are secure and stable. Your ability to build trusting relationships makes you an important person for the students.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with specialized training in health and medical care for children and adolescents, school nurse training, or district nurse training.

You have a genuine interest in the health and development of children and adolescents. You have a good ability to communicate and express yourself clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You have good computer skills (our documentation is done in the PMO journal system).

You may have previous experience working as a school nurse.
