At the dialysis clinic, you will work with kidney disease patients who come for dialysis treatment 3 to 4 times a week, often for many years. The job involves close contact with patients and extensive work with medical technology equipment.

We believe in empowering patients by involving them in their care, and therefore we focus on self-care. We work in groups with nursing responsible nurses for patient-safe care of high quality.

The dialysis clinic's opening hours are Monday 07:00 to 16:00, Tuesday to Friday 07:00 to 15:30.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse, you are responsible for the patient's treatment, overseeing the start, monitoring, and completion. In addition to patient work, where each nurse has a specific nursing responsibility for a number of their own patients, each employee also has specific tasks aimed at improving the quality of care and medical management.

We expect you to actively participate in business development, take personal responsibility, and work with us towards our goals. The work at the dialysis clinic uniquely combines technology and nursing with independent work in patient treatment and care. The position also includes a rotation of at least 20 percent to one of Region Gävleborg's round-the-clock operations. This is to ensure that both you and the clinic develop forward.

As a nurse with us, you will work with, among other things:

  • starting, monitoring, and completing dialysis treatment

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient and confident in their professional role. You are flexible, can structure your work, see the whole picture, and consider the larger perspective. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills as the work involves close contact with both patients and colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

In the role of nurse, you should:

  • be a licensed nurse.

If you have experience working with dialysis, we see it as an advantage for the position.
