Dedicated and Caring Personal Assistant Needed

We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring personal assistant for a teenager with an acquired brain injury. After the injury, he is in a rehabilitation phase where much of daily life involves training, practicing, and gradually regaining lost abilities.

The job involves providing support in all aspects of daily life and contributing to a meaningful, safe, and active existence. Rehabilitation is an important part of daily life, and you as an assistant play a central role in supporting, motivating, and assisting with training and activities.

About the Position

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in the teenager's daily life. Currently, he needs help with the entire execution of daily tasks. Therefore, the work involves both personal care and active participation in rehabilitative efforts in daily life. You will work closely with the family and other assistants to create structure, safety, and the best possible conditions for development.

Responsibilities may include:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Support during meals
• Assistance with transfers
• Accompanying on activities, training, and outings
• Support in communication and social situations
• Participating in and encouraging rehabilitative training and activities
• Contributing to a safe, structured, and developing daily life

We are looking for someone who:

• Is calm, responsible, and empathetic with a great sense of humor
• Has patience and the ability to work motivationally in a rehabilitative environment
• Has good teamwork skills and is attentive
• Is engaged and motivated to work in rehabilitation, preferably with training experience
• Ideally has experience in personal assistance, care, or rehabilitation
• Experience in rehabilitative work is highly meritorious and will weigh heavily in the selection process
• Has good Swedish language skills in speaking and understanding
• Is smoke-free
• Has a cat in the home

Working Hours

Working hours may vary and include day, evening, night, and weekend shifts depending on needs.
