About Novelia

The Novelia Group was founded in 2021 out of a desire to make a difference and to work together with others based on the drive to create meaningfulness. Our values reflect that we are all equally valuable and that our mission is to create conditions for safe care and individualized support. Through participation, collaboration, and dialogue, the goal is for everyone to be able to live a good life based on their own conditions, needs, and desires.

Novelia strives to create a care chain in the area of children and youth to meet the various needs of children for support and interventions at the right level and time in life. Within Children and Youth, we currently operate treatment homes, supported housing, and foster homes.

We also provide support to individuals within social psychiatry by offering group homes with special services, supported housing, and meeting places.

Together, we create a meaningful everyday life and quality of life around the clock. Welcome to make a difference.

About the Position

Stuveryd is a residential care home with ten places for boys and girls aged 7–12 years. We accept traumatized children with attachment issues and neuropsychiatric problems. With 20 years of experience working with children, we offer a safe, pleasant, and predictable environment where the children's needs are always at the center.

Our work is based on trauma-informed care, low-affect responses, and clarifying pedagogy. These approaches create stability, comprehensibility, and safety in everyday life – for both the children and the staff.

The position includes treatment interventions through conversations, activities, structured daily routines, and basic care for the children living in our facilities. You will be responsible for building relationships with both the child and important people in their network.

The position also includes regular household and cleaning tasks that occur in a residential setting.

Qualifications

A two-year vocational education as a social pedagogue/treatment pedagogue is a requirement for this position. It is advantageous if you have university credits in CBT, MI, ACRA, neuropsychiatric disabilities, or pedagogy.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
