This spring, we are opening a new department and are therefore looking for colleagues who want to be part of it from the beginning. Together, we will establish routines and foster good collaboration in a new team – creating a safe start for our future residents. We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant and want to become a long-term part of us at Pilhamns Gårdar through a permanent position.

Your Role

As a nursing assistant, you are an important part of the team around our residents – elderly people with cognitive illnesses. Here, we work with person-centered care, where each individual's needs, wishes, and life stories are at the center. When the new department opens, you, along with your colleagues, will be part of the startup and have the opportunity to help develop working methods and collaboration within the team.

In your work, you will, among other things:

• support the residents in their daily lives and with personal care
• contribute to quality of life through activities such as reading aloud, music, nature experiences, and community
• collaborate in a dedicated care team together with nursing assistants, nurses, and rehabilitation staff
• maintain close communication with the residents and their relatives

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who wants to use their experience to make a difference for people with cognitive illnesses. You are attentive, responsible, and meet every person with warmth and respect. Since the department is in its startup phase, we are looking for someone who enjoys building something new, taking initiative, and contributing ideas.

Qualifications:

• Care and nursing education equivalent to a nursing assistant
• Experience working in care and nursing
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills for documentation, email, and information retrieval

Meritorious:

• Experience working with people with cognitive illnesses.

We want to be clear that the workplace is located in Ingarö in Värmdö, as the travel route is important when applying for a job. It is possible to commute by bus from, for example: Slussen, Gullmarsplan, Nacka, Gustavsberg, and central Värmdö. For those who drive, there are good parking options.
