International English School Årsta is a primary school consisting of 530 students and is part of International School AB (IES), which today consists of 46 primary schools across the country. For over 30 years, IES has made a significant difference for our students. The central student health medical effort at IES consists of MLA, coordinating school nurses, and resource nurses who work closely with school nurses at the schools. From central EMI, we offer, among other things, the introduction of new employees, network meetings, and ongoing training as well as close availability for support and questions.

As a school nurse, you work in close collaboration with other functions in the IES Student Health Team, as well as with management, teachers, mentors, and student resources.

The position primarily targets students in middle and high school and includes standard tasks according to the guidelines of the National Board of Health and Welfare and the National Agency for Education, such as health conversations and health checks, open reception for students, medical consultations, vaccinations, and preventive and health-promoting work at group and organizational levels.

As a school nurse at the school, you collaborate with the principal and other professionals in the student health team to support students' development towards educational goals. Collaboration with municipalities and other agencies, as well as contact with guardians, is a natural part of the work.

Qualifications: Licensed nurse with specialist training in: child and youth, district nurse, or school nurse program. Previous experience as a school nurse is an advantage.
