ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client Gränges is now looking for an Operational Buyer to strengthen their team. This is a temp-to-hire position where you will be employed by us at DC Talents and leased to the client for 6 months, with the ambition that you will then transition to a permanent position at Gränges, provided that all parties are satisfied. The start date for the position is immediate or by agreement, and you will be based at Gränges facilities in Finspång.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Operational Buyer, you will play a central role in the procurement team and gain a broad insight into the processes related to purchasing. You will work with all of the company's procurement areas and have extensive contact both internally and externally.
Main Responsibilities
- Administer orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Manage purchases for various areas such as raw materials, energy, contracting, and services, as well as purchases for production.
- Handle invoices and escalate any discrepancies.
- Work with KPIs by analyzing and reporting results, as well as updating and following up on KPI reports.
- Support strategic buyers and contribute improvement suggestions.
- Plan and implement actions together with those responsible for strategic procurement.
As part of the company, you will have the opportunity to develop in an environment with a unique breadth and variation within procurement work. In addition to operational tasks, you will also gain close insight into strategic and tactical purchasing. You will have the chance to participate and contribute to procurements, thereby acquiring valuable knowledge.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for someone who is driven and enjoys working with data. You will handle large data sets and are expected to use these to identify discrepancies and suggest improvements to the buyers and department head. A post-secondary education in procurement and good Excel skills are a big plus, but previous experience in procurement is not a requirement. You will receive strong support from the organization and the opportunity to develop quickly, with a broad insight into the procurement process.
