Healthcare Administrator at the Surgical Clinic in Linköping

The Surgical Clinic at the University Hospital in Linköping is part of the Center for Surgery, Orthopedics, and Cancer Care in Östergötland.

We provide high-quality care for patients from Östergötland as well as from the Southeast healthcare region and patients from other parts of the country. The clinic consists of a surgical outpatient clinic, breast clinic, stoma clinic, and two wards, B191 surgery and B182 KAVA. The clinic is continuously working on improvements where the patient's process and participation are at the center.

Job Description

As a healthcare administrator with us, you primarily work with medical documentation in outpatient and inpatient care, but also with tasks such as booking patient visits, 1177, documentation support. You may also work with quality registration in one of our quality registers, operational statistics, ITR, telephone, mentoring students, and more. Some weekend work may occur (three to four weekends per year), and there may be opportunities to work remotely.

The clinic's healthcare administration consists of 13 healthcare administrators and is organizationally under a unit manager with healthcare administrator training. Physically, we sit in the same corridor and have a shared staff room with the surgical outpatient clinic. We have a very good collaboration with other professions. We have an open climate and help each other to work forward with different solutions and learn from each other.

About You

A requirement is that you are a trained healthcare administrator. You have good listening comprehension and can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. We would like you to have experience in Cosmic and other relevant IT systems for Region Östergötland, ITR assignments, and experience with digital solutions.

You take responsibility for your tasks in a structured and careful manner. You are expected to work independently but also in a group.
