Ersta elderly homes are part of Ersta diakoni and operate a total of eight elderly homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a safe and enriching everyday life, with activities, community, and good and enjoyable meals. With us, everyone should feel at home!

Susannahemmet is a modern care and nursing home that opened in 2022. Here we offer care around the clock for people with dementia or somatic diseases. The residence has 90 apartments distributed over ten units and is characterized by a safe, homely, and person-centered care environment. The building also houses a preschool and a bakery, and just outside awaits the greenery of Långsjön – an environment that invites movement, community, and quality of life.

About the role

In the role of nursing assistant, you will work closely with residents, relatives, leaders, and other care staff. You and your colleagues plan the workday based on the individual needs and wishes of the residents. Creating a sense of home and a meaningful everyday life for those living with us are important parts of the job. We focus on person-centered care, activities, care meals, and contact person responsibility.

The advertisement concerns a position at 80%.

Your experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• professional certification as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare • good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing • good computer skills.
