About the position
As a doctor in our digital obesity service, you will work with assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients with overweight and obesity. The work is conducted digitally via chat or video. You will assess the indication for pharmacological treatment, initiate treatment when necessary, and follow the patient on their weight journey – in close collaboration with dietitians and psychologists who provide lifestyle support.

You will always have access to our evidence-based guidelines and the opportunity to consult colleagues with extensive experience. Our focus is on medical quality – and we expect you to share this focus. The Medical Quality team is available as support and quality assurance in clinical work.

About Doktor24
Doktor24 is one of Sweden's leading digiphysical healthcare providers. We offer digital care and vaccinations through our 85 clinics in collaboration with pharmacies. Our medical team consists of specialist doctors, licensed physicians, and psychologists with extensive clinical experience. Soon, we will also have dietitians.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is:
• A licensed physician with specialist competence, or a resident physician, in general medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or a similar specialty.
• Clinically secure and medically updated, preferably with experience in treating overweight and obesity.
• Comfortable with digital tools and has good technical skills.
• Empathetic, structured, and clear in patient contact.

Previous experience in digital care is an advantage but not a requirement.

Working hours
During the introduction, we wish for you to work daytime, Monday–Friday, when all support resources are available. Once you are secure in the position, there is the possibility of flexible work during evenings and weekends – often combined with other clinical duties.
