About the role As a group manager, your primary task is to coach and work in the daily care work together with the team. This means that you are a role model for your employees, and through your strong commitment, you create a good working atmosphere in the group every day. You will work during the day, on weekends, and in the evenings.

• Close leadership: The role exists in our organization to ensure close leadership and provide support. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your work group and are involved in developing and quality assuring the operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and confirming your employees in their daily work. You have several group manager colleagues, and you collaborate, brainstorm, and exchange experiences.
• Participation: As a group manager, you report to the operations manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group.

About Sveagatan We are a dementia care home in the Herrhagen district, just a short walk from Karlstad's city center. We operate the residence on behalf of Karlstad municipality. We have 30 apartments spread over three floors. Please read more about Sveagatan on our unit page at www.vardaga.se

• Activity manager: We work structured with activities and have an activity manager who develops and carries out meaningful activities with our residents.
• Dementia certification: We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia and interaction through Dementia Academy (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/demens/). You will also undergo this training.
• Needs-based wish schedule: We apply a needs-based wish schedule. This means that you and your employees have the opportunity to influence working hours based on needs and wishes. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.
• Young Care: We have a collaboration with the company Young Care (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/ung-omsorg-pa-vara-boenden/). This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Young Care engages in various activities together with us who work here, to enhance the lives of the residents.

Your experience and knowledge You are a trained care assistant, have good computer skills, and speak and write fluent Swedish. Experience in elderly care and leadership is an advantage for this role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
