About the Health Center

With patients in focus, the Rud health center works for good, close, and safe care for approximately 8,800 registered patients.

Here you will find competent healthcare personnel who have their own clinics such as nurse-led hypertension, asthma-COPD, heart failure, dementia, and diabetes clinics. We have permanent medical staffing, counseling services, rehabilitation coordinators, physiotherapists, and foot care, as well as experienced healthcare administrators. A family center is located in the same building.

The health center is located in Karlstad, with a restaurant, grocery store, and pharmacy around the corner. It is easily accessible by public transport and has excellent cycling paths. By applying for a position at Rud, you also gain the opportunity to enjoy the city's offerings with proximity to restaurants, shopping, and museums. Karlstad has beautiful walking and cycling paths that invite an active lifestyle.

We are now looking for two district nurses, one permanent position and one one-year temporary position.

Job Description

We can offer a varied outpatient work with personal responsibility and good close collaboration with different professional categories. We work in a wonderful team with doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers/psychologists, physiotherapists, and healthcare administrators to create good continuity for our patients. Collaboration with other healthcare actors such as municipalities, relatives, and inpatient care is important to us and is part of our daily work. We strive to give employees the opportunity to contribute/drive development work based on interest together with colleagues. We have a positive attitude towards new ideas and working methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a district nurse. It is advantageous if you have further training in, for example, asthma-COPD, dementia, or diabetes.

For us, it is important that you have a positive attitude, contribute to a good work environment, and are service-oriented. You find it easy to collaborate and take responsibility for your work. The workload can vary, which requires flexibility and a structured approach. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
