We are now offering a trainee position as an occupational therapist.

You will have the opportunity for a longer, flexible, and individualized introduction in the municipal healthcare system. Take the chance to learn a job that really matters!

Job Responsibilities:

The trainee period runs from August 2025 to February 2026. During the autumn, you will receive an introduction within our various areas of nursing homes and home care. You will be introduced and mentored by our mentors and your supervisor who is an occupational therapist.

At the same time, you will receive an introduction to the department's operations such as the Assistive Technology Unit, LSS, social psychiatry, and the Display Environment. You will also receive information together with other professionals in the team about how the work at the Assistance Office, nursing stations, and other operations works to get a holistic view and a common thread throughout the operations and the department.

You will have regular check-ins with mentors, supervisors, and unit managers. Continuous professional development through learning on the job and training will take place during and after the trainee period.

As an occupational therapist, you work in preventive, activity-preserving, and activity-enhancing purposes. Your closest colleagues are occupational therapists and physiotherapists, which contributes to a holistic view regarding human activity and functional ability. Qualifications:

You are a newly graduated licensed occupational therapist.

You are stimulated by meetings with people where you always strive to provide a professional response according to our values. Since most of your working hours are spent in the patient's home, you are independent, have good communication skills, are flexible, and collaborative. Therefore, great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

To visit patients, you need to have a B driver's license.
