We are now looking for two new nursing colleagues, one for a permanent position and one for a temporary position lasting until 2025-08-31, with the possibility of extension.

Your Workplace

The patient hotel is a 24/7 operation and is organizationally part of the emergency clinic within the inpatient care area. We have a unique operation that combines two worlds, hotel and healthcare. The patient hotel offers our guests a hotel-like accommodation with medical services. Together with healthcare operations, the patient hotel provides accommodation for patients of all ages who need hospital-connected care or treatment but do not need to be admitted to a care ward. Patients staying here have a responsible treatment operation to which they belong. We perform medical interventions on behalf of the operation. A part of the business idea is to focus on the healthy so that the patient's self-healing powers are utilized.

The patient hotel has 50 guest rooms, most of which allow for accompanying relatives. The patient hotel also operates restaurant and conference services. Food and environment are important for the patient's well-being, and high quality is our guiding principle.

We are in a constant phase of development to meet patients' needs. We work with continuous improvement, and the operation is open to ideas and suggestions for improvement.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse, you will partly work at the hotel reception and play an important role in providing our guests with good service and a warm welcome. You, as a nurse, are also responsible for the daily medical safety at the hotel.

With us, you have the opportunity to work person-centered and take the time to meet the guest to create security. Nursing tasks include, for example, intravenous infusions and postoperative checks as part of the care process, as well as support for guests/patients and relatives. We document in the Cosmic journal system.

We view rotation service with other operations within Region Värmland positively.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed nurse who enjoys working in a team. Previous experience and broad competence are meritorious.

You are used to working independently and confident in making your own decisions. You have good communication skills and computer proficiency. We are looking for someone who wants to help develop the patient hotel as a form of care and place great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews are conducted continuously during the selection process.
