Your workplace

Imaging and Functional Diagnostics (BFD) is a dynamic and technologically advanced operation that includes radiology, mammography, and clinical physiology. Radiological units are located in five places: Arvika, Karlstad, Kristinehamn, Säffle, and Torsby. Mammography and clinical physiology are conducted in Karlstad and cover all of Värmland.

Here at the radiology department in Kristinehamn, there is one nursing assistant, four radiology nurses, two radiologists, and two administrative staff. As a nursing assistant with us, you will have the opportunity for close collaboration with radiology nurses and radiologists.

We are a day operation, and as a nursing assistant with us, you will work weekdays from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The employment is a six-month temporary position that may extend over the summer.

Your tasks

You will receive patients and prepare them, set up IVs, and provide information about the examination. You will have the opportunity to assist in various examinations, such as skeletal, CT, and ultrasound. Booking patients for examinations is also one of the nursing assistant's tasks, as well as making orders and overseeing the reception as a whole.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified nursing assistant with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You are a confident and responsible person with good teamwork skills who can easily adapt to different situations and needs. We place great importance on your personal suitability. If you have a few years of professional experience, experience in setting IVs, and good computer skills, it is an advantage.
