Due to the government's new regulations regarding mandatory activity requirements for individuals receiving financial support, we need to expand our teams with several positions. Therefore, we are looking for dedicated and knowledgeable social workers with experience in the area of financial assistance for both permanent and temporary positions.

Your new job

With us, you will work on assessing the right to assistance. We focus a lot on the path to self-sufficiency and offer training in MIX, which is our assessment template. As a social worker with us, we offer you a 7-hour workday, flexible hours, and thorough introduction to the work. We operate with a duty schedule where we support each other if someone is sick or absent. In Jönköping Municipality, we have also started using an e-service where our residents in need of financial assistance can apply digitally.

As a social worker with us, you also have a range of support functions that provide you with security in your role. Support resources available include a municipal lawyer specializing in social services. In the work team, there is a senior social worker who provides guidance and support when you make decisions in cases. We have well-established routines and processes and many colleagues to collaborate with. Additionally, you will have support from your immediate supervisor.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, and it is desirable that you have experience in handling financial assistance or have experience in other governmental duties. You are well-versed in the Social Services Act and have received MI training.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills, are flexible and curious. You are accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and are interested in and capable of motivating and supporting people in processes that lead to self-sufficiency. You can also prioritize and structure your work effectively and are goal- and result-oriented. A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
