We are looking for support assistants/residential support workers on an hourly basis for our LSS service housing in Salem.

The housing is aimed at individuals belonging to group 1, young adults from 18 years with mild intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions.

The housing is located in Salem and consists of 14 apartments in a building where other tenants also reside.

Your primary task is to, in consultation with the client/user, plan and design support, service, and care that is individually tailored so that the client/user can live like others with quality of life and good living conditions.

You work to create quality care and are expected to work with all senses to contribute to a dignified and independent life for individuals with various types of difficulties.

The individual should receive support to manage their life, make choices, and be motivated to lead an active life in society.

Providing support and service to individuals with disabilities is a broad, varied, and challenging job. For this to work, you need to collaborate with your colleagues, your network, and other professionals. You are part of the work with care and activities together with clients in a smaller work team.

Qualifications:

Requirements: Support assistant education with a focus on psychiatry and LSS. Experience with the target group and work in LSS service housing.

You should have experience in pedagogical work with the target group, structured work with clarifying pedagogy, and knowledge of various disabilities.

You are expected to work in a low-affect manner and adapt your approach based on the client's needs and issues. You work from a solution-focused approach and need to be able to handle unforeseen events calmly and safely. You should be able to follow instructions and legal requirements related to the work.

You have a positive attitude and good self-awareness. You are a person with professional maturity who is responsible and has a creative mindset. You have the ability to work both in a team and independently and take your own initiatives.

You need to have a strong will and drive to promote people's development based on their conditions.

The job requires you to have a B driver's license. You must have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
