Care Assistants Wanted at Tunagården

Are you curious about new challenges? We are now looking for three care assistants who want to contribute to creating safe and person-centered care for our elderly.

Tunagården is located in Söder, about 1.5 kilometers from Eskilstuna city center. Here we have close proximity to green areas, walking paths, and an environment that creates calm and comfort for both residents and staff. The accommodation has 129 apartments distributed across 12 units, ten dementia units, and two elderly care homes. The positions are primarily based in the elderly care home, but work in the dementia unit may occur.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will work during the day, evenings, and weekends on a schedule or at night. You will perform standard care tasks, medical care, clothing care, cleaning, and work with assessments according to BPSD. Documentation is also part of the job, and you will collaborate closely with your colleagues. Of course, we work with activities for the residents that contribute to the well-being here at Tunagården. We have representative roles to distribute responsibilities such as change, quality, and food.

The role includes promoting our work group's community! Even though some of us work nights and others work days, evenings, and weekends, everyone's community is crucial for the quality of work. Together, we help create a meaningful everyday life for our residents, day and night.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant with experience in elderly care. You have experience with BPSD and are accustomed to administering medications and insulin. You are also familiar with documenting and creating implementation plans.

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in providing person-centered care. You have a good attitude towards our clients and are solution-oriented when needed.

If you have applied for and are waiting for proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, we can only offer you a temporary position as a care assistant for a maximum of 3 months.

As of March 1, 2026, new legal requirements will apply, which means we will request a criminal record extract before employment can be offered.
