About the Job

At the Emergency Department in Halmstad, we offer you the opportunity for development, new challenges, and good camaraderie.

Here you have the chance to grow within your knowledge in medicine, surgery, orthopedics, infection, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, gynecology, and pediatrics. You will also participate in continuous internal training and updates within our area of operation.

Approximately 80 dedicated employees work at the Emergency Department, providing qualitative and professional care. We focus on what we know is most important: contributing to our patients having the best possible conditions and care that always starts from our patients' needs.

The work is characterized by variety and many educational tasks. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with care and treatment of acutely ill patients in an exciting and active environment.

About the Workplace

Hallands Hospital includes the emergency hospitals in Halmstad and Varberg, and we also conduct planned operations in Kungsbacka and Falkenberg. We have about 3,500 employees working to provide the best possible care to the residents of Halland, offering specialist care with high quality and good accessibility. Our employees are the key to Hallands Hospital achieving very good results in many national measurements, and we work on continuous improvements.

About You

We are looking for someone who is interested in having a varied and challenging job. You are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with a few years of experience. To thrive with us, you need to have a genuine interest in emergency care. Experience in emergency care is an advantage.

You will encounter a broad field of work where no two days are alike. Therefore, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to what the situation requires. You see the value of good collaboration and contribute to this through flexibility and engagement. For you, a professional and empathetic approach is a given. Furthermore, we want you to be proactive and care about quality and patient safety.
