Job Responsibilities

About the Workplace

The Medical Clinic in Varberg consists of four different wards where we work with patient-centered care and take care of our patients in various medical specialties. We work together with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We have an open and positive work climate with friendly colleagues.

We are now looking for summer interns for the following units:

• 4A Nephrology, Gastroenterology
• 5A Hematology, Endocrinology, and Lung Diseases
• 5C Cardiology and HIA

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are:

• trained nursing assistant
• studying to become a nurse (preferably completed semester 3 by summer 2026, but individual assessments will be made after semester 2 with approved practice. Other relevant experience may be meritorious and considered in the assessment).
• studying to become a doctor (preferably completed semester 6 by summer 2026, but other relevant experience may be meritorious and considered in the assessment).

To ensure the quality of the recruitment process and for us to proceed with your application, we ask you to attach certificates for your completed or ongoing education. We also wish that you are clear about which unit interests you the most so we can allocate your application to the right unit.

Information about the Recruitment Process

• Be sure to specify any internships and work experience in your application. It is important that you also attach your diploma. If you are not yet finished with your studies, attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses.
• As of July 1, 2023, the title of Nursing Assistant became a protected title, read more on the National Board of Health and Welfare's website. This means that if you have not applied for a protected title or do not meet the requirements for the position of Nursing Assistant, you will receive the position of Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant.
