About the Job

The position as a nurse at the eating disorder clinic involves a varied and exciting job where you will work with initial assessments, somatic checks, psychoeducational interventions, family conversations, individual talks, and meal support.

The assignment also includes consultation/advisory roles and assessments.

About the Workplace

The eating disorder care in Halland is an age-inclusive service organized under Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. There are two outpatient clinics in the region, one in Halmstad and one in Varberg. We work in multidisciplinary teams where collaboration is of utmost importance. The team in Halmstad consists of nurses, caregivers, social workers, secretaries, psychologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, treatment pedagogues, doctors, and department heads.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training/advanced education in psychiatry.

It is an advantage if you have experience and/or interest in treatment work with patients with eating disorders, psychiatry, and family work. Qualities we value include curiosity, openness, humor, and commitment. We believe these qualities drive our clinic forward and foster development.

You are ambitious and professional in your role and have a clear focus on the patient's needs in your work. You have a holistic view of your work as well as good collaboration and initiative skills, and you constantly strive for personal and professional development.
