Your role as Group ManagerIn the role of Group Manager, you are one of two group managers who, together with the Site Manager, form the local management team and lead both the strategic and operational work at the center.
You are the first-line manager and supervisor for a number of operational employees who work around the clock in various roles. You exercise a present leadership style and have a coaching role, helping each individual employee to develop. You also collectively exercise the center's leadership with your colleagues and create good conditions for the entire employee group.
Your tasksYour tasks include a delegated responsibility for the work environment, conducting employee conversations, being active in scheduling together with the staffing department, working with quality monitoring, competence supply, and recruiting new operational employees. The employees work with many different services; 112 reception, ambulance dispatch, alarm and management of rescue resources, SOS Nurse, emergency alarms, and Team Leaders. You are also responsible for delivering against the organization's goals together with your colleagues, where you will have the local functional responsibility for one or more of the above services/functions.
The position includes internal collaboration both locally and nationally, as well as with the company's external partners.
The working hours are primarily during the day, but in your role as Group Manager, you may need to work flexible hours such as evenings, nights, and weekends, mainly as your employees work around-the-clock shifts, but it may also depend on assignments and needs in the organization.

experience as a leader with supervisory and/or personnel responsibility.
Understanding of issues that arise in an organization that operates 24/7/365.
Good knowledge of the Office suite.
Experience working with or for emergency services or alarm centers.

SOS Alarm conducts background checks and security assessments with register checks on its staff according to the requirements of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). A check according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies is also performed and is active during the employment period. A drug test without remarks is a prerequisite for employment. The position also involves military placement at SOS Alarm.
