About the Workplace

Psychiatry Halland is the Region Halland's administration for all public specialist psychiatry.

This includes psychiatry for children, adolescents, and adults, both outpatient and inpatient care. Psychiatry Halland has about 870 employees and operations in all municipalities of the region.

The Adult Psychiatric Inpatient Care in Halmstad has three care departments: PIVA, a psychiatric intensive care unit with an emergency reception, Department 19, a general psychiatric care department, and Department 26, which focuses on general psychiatric care for our older patients and psychosis care. The operation also includes an ECT clinic and a LARO clinic.

We are now looking for a nurse for day/evening shifts for Department 26.

About the Job

We offer you a job in an organization with a patient focus, characterized by science, proven experience, openness, and collaboration. In our operations, we work to continuously improve and develop psychiatric care.

Your tasks will consist of standard nursing duties within psychiatric inpatient care as well as emergency reception, psychiatric care, leadership, patient conversations, family conversations, documentation, medication management, etc.

Working as a nurse with us is fun, varied, and challenging while requiring you to be flexible and able to work independently. The department consists of teams with multiple professions, so good collaboration skills are also of utmost importance.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. A specialist education in psychiatry is desirable but not required. Previous experience as a nurse in psychiatric inpatient care is an advantage.

You are a service-oriented and solution-focused person with a good attitude. You find it easy to collaborate and enjoy working in a team, but you also have the ability to work independently. The ability to be flexible in your work is also considered an important trait. We also see that you have engagement and a desire to actively contribute to the development of our operations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
