About the Work and Us

The outpatient care offers psychiatry close to the residents and has clinics in every municipality. Our operational focus, Right Care at the Right Time!, involves ongoing work towards increased quality, shorter lead times, and better patient participation. Improvement work occurs continuously and involves all staff.

The clinic in Kungsbacka consists of two general psychiatric teams, an addiction team, and a psychosis team. The teams include doctors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, caregivers, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries. The target group for the clinic is individuals over 18 years old with severe depression and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and suicidality.

The Adult Psychiatric Reception (VPM) in Kungsbacka has about 65 employees who work cross-professionally, in collaboration with both inpatient care and local healthcare. The medical team is stable with its own permanent doctors, but we are now looking for a specialist physician in psychiatry for one of the general psychiatric teams as one of our colleagues is retiring.

The Adult Psychiatric Reception in Kungsbacka is located in modern facilities and is only a 20-minute train ride from Gothenburg or Varberg, and if you drive, there is free parking right outside the clinic.

The position is a permanent employment at 100%.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician and have specialized in psychiatry. You are confident in your professional role and can work independently. You are flexible and can easily adapt. Your communication skills are good, and you can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Travel may be required in the position, so a B driver's license is beneficial but not a necessity.
