Your role with us

As a dental hygienist, you will work with both children and adult patients. You will perform examinations and diagnostics within the dental hygienist's area of responsibility, promote health, and motivate self-care and good habits. You will also be part of the team around patients with extensive care needs.

With us, you will work as a dental hygienist in close collaboration with other employees towards the clinic's common goals and the development work of the clinics.

Your placement will be at Folktandvården Hylte

Your placement will be at Folktandvården Hylte, but work at other clinics in the area may occur by agreement.

About the workplace

Folktandvården Hyltebruk is located in beautiful surroundings in spacious, airy premises with seven treatment rooms. In the same building, there is also a health center and BVC, which facilitates our collaboration, and we receive visits from orthodontics once a week. The clinic will be renovated in the fall and will receive new units in all treatment rooms.

Folktandvården City is located in the center of Halmstad and has 11 treatment rooms. We are next to orthodontics, which gives us the opportunity to collaborate and develop together. We focus on health-promoting dental care to give residents of Halland the opportunity for good self-care to keep their mouths healthy.

Folktandvården Oskarström is located in the central part of the locality. The clinic has five modern and updated treatment rooms.

All three clinics in our area have digital scanners for impression taking, the possibility to work with nitrous oxide, and equipment to perform surgical procedures.

We offer good opportunities for individual professional development as needs arise.

There are good commuting options between the clinics via public transport, and on days when travel to another clinic is necessary, working hours will be adjusted accordingly.

Qualifications

You are a licensed dental hygienist, and previous experience in the profession is an advantage. You will work independently and be part of the team around the patient. The position requires good IT skills and proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We see it as an advantage if you have additional language skills.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and building good relationships. You meet all people with understanding, respect, and care, and you have a good sense of service. You appreciate a varied job where you can take responsibility and initiative. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
