About the Job

With us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you can use and develop your caregiving skills.

• You work closely with patients and become an important part of a team.
• The tasks vary, including caregiving work and sample collection.
• You meet patients with different needs, disease patterns, and diagnoses – a chance to broaden your competence.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• an educated nursing assistant or caregiver (psychiatry)
• a nursing student (preferably completed semester 3 by summer 2026, but individual assessments will be made after semester 2 with approved practice. Other relevant experience may be meritorious and considered in the assessment.)
• a medical student (preferably completed semester 6 by summer 2026, but other relevant experience may also be meritorious and considered in the assessment.)

For work in psychiatry, you can also apply if you are studying to become a psychologist, social worker, or treatment assistant.

We believe that you:

• have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team
• are responsible and have good collaboration skills
• can communicate well with patients, relatives, and colleagues

Information about the Recruitment Process

• In your application, please specify the location and department/clinic you prefer to work in. • As of July 1, 2023, Nursing Assistant is a protected job title, read more on the Socialstyrelsen website (https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/underskoterska-blir-en-skyddad-yrkestitel/). This means that if you have not applied for a protected job title or do not meet the requirements to hold the position of Nursing Assistant, you will be assigned the position of Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant.
• Please be sure to include any practical training and work experience in your application. It is also important that you attach your diploma. If you have not yet completed your studies, please attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses.
• For those who meet our basic requirements, we will first contact your references to ensure a quick and efficient recruitment process. We use digital reference checking via Refensa.
• For those who are considered for employment in Psychiatry, the Child and Adolescent Clinic, and the Emergency Clinic, the employer will request that you provide a criminal record extract (which you request from the Police) before a decision on possible employment, based on the Act (2013:852) on background checks of persons working with children.
