The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services that are grounded in several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This can involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting individuals with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as a care assistant with us means being an important part of people's everyday lives. You get to use your care and commitment to make a difference every day. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to creating safety, continuity, and good care for individuals who need support, whether it is at home, in a special housing facility, group home, or within social psychiatry.

As a care assistant, you provide support in daily living to individuals in need of care. This can involve assistance with personal care, meals, transfers, and creating a meaningful everyday life for the user. The work is based on individual implementation plans and aims to strengthen the individual's independence and participation.

You work closely with colleagues and other professionals, and it includes documenting efforts according to applicable guidelines. The role requires good communication, flexibility, and a professional approach, always with the user's needs in focus.

The work is scheduled for both daytime, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operation.

You are expected to have resource shifts, which means you move between accommodations in rural areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in this role, you need to be confident in yourself, have a respectful attitude, and want to contribute to a good work environment. You need to be meticulous, service-oriented, and have the ability to adapt to different people's needs.

The work requires good collaboration skills, but also that you can take responsibility and work independently. It is important that you are attentive, aware of changes, and can handle both routine situations and more unexpected events in everyday life. You need to be able to document in digital systems according to applicable routines.

We also see that you have:

• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driving license B, if required by the operation.

Experience in elderly care, support for disabilities, and/or social psychiatry is an advantage.
