District Nurse/Pediatric Nurse at Vårdcentralen Tvååker

Vårdcentralen Tvååker is looking for an engaged district nurse/pediatric nurse who wants to be part of our team.

About the Position

As a BVC nurse, you will combine independent work with a strong team spirit. You will have a varied job focused on the child's health, where you actively support parents in strengthening their parental role with a family-centered approach. The role involves working according to the child health care's basic program, and your tasks will include assessing children's development, supporting parents, home visits to our newborns, parent groups, medical consultations, as well as telephone advice and chat at BVC. Part of the position may, if necessary, be allocated to the health center's other activities, contributing to a varied workday and strong team spirit.

Working hours are during the day with possible evening and weekend shifts.

About Us

Vårdcentralen Tvååker is a pleasant health center and workplace where we work together for the best interests of the patient, and where everyone in the team helps each other. We have about 25 employees who take care of our 5,800 registered patients. It is important to us that patients find it easy and welcoming to contact us.

We offer well-functioning care and, in addition to medical consultations, a stable interdisciplinary care with district nurses, BVC, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and lab. We also have a psychosocial team.

The health center is centrally located in the community of Tvååker, just a quarter of an hour's journey from Varberg, and you can easily reach us by public transport. If you drive, there are good parking facilities, and the health center is close to the motorway exit.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed district nurse or a licensed nurse with specialist training in health and medical care for children and adolescents. Previous experience in outpatient work at BVC is an advantage.

We see that you have a pronounced service sense, are flexible, and have the ability to prioritize among tasks. It is also important that you can easily collaborate within the team and between different professions. We highly value collaboration and team spirit. We also see that you have the commitment and willingness to actively contribute to the development of our operations. To ensure good and safe communication with colleagues, patients, and other contacts, we require good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
