The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at various stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work to strengthen people's independence and quality of life in their daily lives? We are now looking for an engaged occupational therapist who wants to be part of our interdisciplinary team within the Social Administration. Here, you can use your expertise to make a real difference for the individual.

As an occupational therapist, you will assess activity and functional ability and suggest measures that contribute to increased independence, safety, and participation. You will prescribe assistive devices, provide guidance to staff and relatives, and create housing adaptation certificates. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other professional groups, and you are an important part of the interdisciplinary cooperation around the individual.

You will plan, implement, and follow up on interventions that help the individual live as active and independent a life as possible. You will work independently but with the support of a collegial network and good collaboration with other professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you need to be independent, structured, and have a genuine interest in helping others achieve increased independence in their daily lives. You enjoy working both practically and analytically, and you have good collaboration skills when interacting with colleagues, relatives, and other actors. You also have the ability to document according to applicable regulations.

You have:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written

Interviews are planned in a centrally located venue in Varberg on Monday, March 9th, and Tuesday, March 10th.
