About us and the job

As an operating nurse, you will be responsible for patient care and instrumentation before, during, and after surgery or a surgical examination, based on the individual needs of the patient.

You are an important contact for our partners – the operating clinics. You will work with perioperative care, medical technology, and nursing documentation. You will have the support of your colleagues as you work together in a team with other professional categories to provide the best possible care for the patient.

We are a modern healthcare facility focused on high-quality patient care and innovation. We care for patients, both adults and children, from various specialties such as surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and ENT. We also perform robot-assisted surgeries in the fields of surgery, gynecology, and urology, making the work varied and stimulating.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialized training in operating room nursing.

• You perform all common tasks within the operating nurse profession
• You have good collaboration skills and work effectively in a team
• You are structured, driven, and understand production
• You have an interest in change and improvement work

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours

At Halland Hospital, we work together to staff the operations that are necessary around the clock. This means that part of the working hours may be scheduled for evenings and weekends.
