At Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine in Varberg, we are now looking for engaged, curious, and responsible summer substitutes to join our wonderful team.

About the Work and Us

Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine in Varberg is a well-equipped and dynamic department where we offer a wide range of analyses and work with continuous development of quality and methodology. With us, the cohesion is strong, decision-making paths are short, and job satisfaction is high.

Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine Halland is part of Medical Diagnostics Halland, which belongs to the ADH administration, Ambulance Diagnostics Health. We operate at hospitals in Halmstad, Varberg, Kungsbacka, and Falkenberg. We have about 150 employees in Halland, and over 50 people work in Varberg. The largest staff category is biomedical analysts, but you will also have laboratory assistants, nurses, nursing assistants, administrative staff, hospital chemists, and doctors as colleagues.

We also run a blood donation branch at the Health Center in Falkenberg, which adds further variety to the work.

The operation is open around the clock, but you will mainly work weekdays, with working hours scheduled during the day and some evenings.

About You

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse or studying to become a nurse.
• Are a trained nursing assistant or studying to become a nursing assistant.
• Have a genuine interest in laboratory medicine and/or work with blood donation.
• Have the ability to take responsibility, collaborate, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Are meticulous, flexible, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with high demands on quality.

It is an advantage if you have experience in sampling and a B driver's license.
