Your Responsibilities

Do you want to help develop our nursing unit within healthcare in Halmstad municipality?

As a nursing student, you will be placed in home healthcare where you work closely with nurses and perform tasks within the HSL area.

Examples of tasks include sampling, insulin administration, and wound dressing. In addition to practical tasks, you are responsible for documenting events related to the patient and maintaining contact with relatives and other professionals in the care team. You will meet home care patients both in regular and special accommodations.

We expect you to work independently and in accordance with our core values: Trust – Humility – Respect.

As an employee within the home care administration in Halmstad municipality, you will have a basic placement in one unit, but we hope you have an open mind and can work in other units as needed. You will be offered introductory days with an overview of systems and routines, as well as lectures on palliative care and wound care.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or nursing student with at least four semesters completed. You are a responsible person with a good ability to plan and organize your work. You have full delegation ability and experience in taking all delegations from licensed personnel.

The work involves documentation in our digital systems, which requires good computer skills and strong communication abilities. You need to express yourself well in Swedish when communicating with colleagues, patients, and relatives.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
