We are now looking for care assistants and nurses for summer temporary positions in our operations in Region Halland South (Halmstad and Falkenberg) – are you one of our new employees for the summer of 2026?

About the Job

With us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you can use and develop your care skills.

• You will work closely with patients and become an important part of a team.
• The tasks vary, including care work and sampling.
• You will meet patients with different needs, health conditions, and diagnoses – a chance to broaden your competence.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• an educated care assistant or nurse (psychiatry)
• a nursing student (preferably completed semester 3 by summer 2026, but individual assessments will be made after semester 2 with approved practice. Other relevant experience may be meritorious and considered in the assessment.)
• a medical student (preferably completed semester 6 by summer 2026, but other relevant experience may also be meritorious and considered in the assessment.)

For work in psychiatry, you may also apply if you are studying to become a psychologist, social worker, or treatment assistant.

We believe that you:

• have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team
• are responsible and have good collaboration skills
• can communicate well with patients, relatives, and colleagues

We would like you to be able to work throughout the holiday period.

• As of July 1, 2023, Care Assistant has become a protected professional title. Read more on the Socialstyrelsen website (https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/underskoterska-blir-en-skyddad-yrkestitel/). This means that if you have not applied for a protected professional title or do not meet the requirements to hold the position of Care Assistant, you will be assigned the title of Healthcare Assistant or Nursing Assistant.
• Be sure to include any internships and work experience in your application. It is also important that you attach your diploma. If you have not yet completed your studies, please attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses.
• For those who meet our basic requirements, we will first contact your references to ensure a quick and efficient recruitment process. We use digital reference checking via Refensa.
• For those who are considered for employment in Psychiatry, the Child and Adolescent Clinic, and the Emergency Clinic, the employer will request that you provide a criminal record extract (which you request from the Police) before a decision on potential employment, based on the Act (2013:852) on background checks of individuals working with children.
